Hello! I’m Nim, a creative based in Chicago after graduating from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
My educational background includes Fiber and Material Studies, Printmaking, and Book Art.
About
I’m a non-binary artist who grew up in Denver, Colorado and graduated in 2019 from Denver School of the Arts where I studied Visual Arts. At SAIC, I explored fiber/textile art, printmaking (lithography & screenprinting), ceramics, and bookmaking. I have also consistently practiced fashion, video art, tattoo, and film photography both in and outside of school.
My art often highlights and unpacks themes of self-reflection, nature, nostalgia & longing, gender & sex, and social issues, and how these themes intermingle and overlap.
Other than art, I am equally as involved in the outdoor community. I spent a gap semester during Spring semester of 2021 with Sanborn Western Camps in Colorado. My home state has become an integral part of my life, instilling in me a deep love for the outdoors.
