Ellis Mural

This mural was brought to existence by the community members of Krisana park to breathe new life into a wall at Ellis Elementary School, our community elementary school. A small group of locals, including me, worked with Christian Musselman, the designer, to organize and execute the planning, preparing, and painting of the mural. I helped the group source and collect the proper materials, find local sponsors to help support the mural, create a publicity poster, and organize a series of volunteer weekends to paint the mural.

I am so grateful to have the chance to take part in such a big project and learn about all the behind-the-scenes efforts that make something like this possible. I have always loved making art with other people and collaborating to produce something truly unique. I am so proud to have been part of this community event and hope to take on similar projects in the future!
